Garden Club

The Garden Club was started in 2011. It meets on the second Monday of the month at 7.30 pm in the Church Hall in Chadley Lane, except for June when there is a visit to a garden, July, when we have a Garden Party, and August, when we have a break.

Each meeting has a guest speaker, and we have had some very interesting ones – learning a about many things: from bees to chillies, herbs to garden layouts.

The annual membership is a very reasonable £10 for the year, and £2 per meeting, or £4 per meeting if you are not a member.

The June visits have been to a number of fascinating places, from Abbot’s Ripton to Wimpole Hall and Barnsdale. There is also a Christmas Party with a gardening-associated quiz.

All are welcome – just turn up !
