Greener Streets
GREENER STREETS: BETTER LIVES is a Royal Horticultural Society campaign that aims to transform the grey spaces in our communities into attractive green places. It is a call to action to get the nation growing. Godmanchester in Bloom is grateful to everyone who already puts out pots, containers, baskets etc. and as we move to create a greener community we are now looking to extend the scheme further to enhance this great Town of ours, especially to those houses and other buildings adjoining the street without the benefit of much – or indeed any – front garden. Anyone can get involved! Whether you have a tiny windowsill to transform with a pot or window box – or scope for a bigger project – anyone can make a contribution, no matter what the size.
