Open Gardens 2026:

Overview

Open Gardens was held on 6 and 7 June 2026. Visitors could explore 18 gardens, including 6 new additions, with styles ranging from cottage gardens to tropical planting and contemporary outdoor spaces.

First launched in 2010, Open Gardens has been held every two years, with a virtual version in 2020 when visits in person were not possible. The event gives people the opportunity to explore the town, enjoy a variety of gardens, and experience its community spirit.
